i'm here to inject some life again, not just into this space but also into my writing.
last week before i complete my short stint as a physics relief teacher. they say that marking is always the bane of a teacher's life. i couldn't agree more. just finished marking 2 classes' practicals and i have another 2 more to go because the NIE trainees have left and honestly, i am not enjoying it at all. it's somehow more energy consuming than running around the track, yet it doesn't any burn any calories. and double negative doesn't really make a positive in this case. the only positive thing is i'm making money out of this. and of course i've to make sure my students get their books back in time so they can study for their test.
anw i had kuishinbo buffet at suntec last night for this first time so i thought i might as well do a mini review on it here. well, as much as i think that the food is of slightly higher quality and of (much) greater variety as compared to the other sushi buffets, i thnk that it's rather over-priced. basically there were all sorts of japanese cuisine to choose from, from sushi to crabs, from sashimi to all sorts of tempura. the star of the spread though, is their dessert counter, which has a chocolate fondue and several mouth water-ing cakes/tarts. overall i feel that it's worth going for but not worth going back unless there is a overwhelming craving for authentic japanese cuisine. my vote still goes to marutama ramen for the most authentic and satisfying jap food in singapore.
