was thoroughly disappointed at how the way newcastle united went down into the abyss. as much as i'm a fan of the club (which i have probably been supporting for almost half my life), i thought they really derserved to be relegated this time.
relegation, the work somehow just wreck a nerve in me whenever i hear it. as some of my friends has said, it serves as a wake up call to other clubs that having a rich history and long standing in the top flight does not guarantees anything.
it's really hard for the fans, and hard for the temporary manager, who was the star back when newcastle united was basking in premiership glory.
well, until we fight our way back again, i won't have any clubs to support for a while.
anw interesting outfit by nadal during his first round: pink and yellow!

french open has started! yes yes yes!
alright i'll not be supporting nadal as much because i prefer underdogs. i preferred him as world no. 2. but still, he's my second choice. first choice will be..
fernando verdasco!
note: no i do not have any favouritism for spanish leftys
anw third will be murray. i kinda of like players who have been having a surge in their form recently.

i guess the only reason why i'm still updating is because i'm in the office for duty (for the 2nd consecutive day) and i have totally nth to do since youtube isn't really loading.
shall recap a bit on sunday, though it seems a tad too late but at least i can still recall what went on at the SIA International Cup at Kranji Turf Club. Yup, went to watch the first live horse racing in my life, because we had free box seat tickets. it was quite an experience nevertheless, seeing how the horses bolt down the turf, and at some point, running away from the wrong side of the starting line without the jockey on it. and also all the rich foreigners (which yujia admitted on her blog that she can't stop staring at), and everyone looking glam and all in the luxurious environment but shouting like some kopitiam ah pek during the race, regardless of whether the horses they've placed their bets on is well in the lead or cast aside at the back.
it wasnt all that exciting as the day wore on but needless to say, it was still an experience.
and now i'm back in my office again, doing duty and eating cup noodles and watching my restaurant run on facebook.

reality sucks
i was watching how the referee robbed chelsea of a at least 5 very deserving penalties in their championship league clash with barcelona, in turn causing the team to lose out their spot in the finals. and i really understood how drogba and ballack felt.
i'm no chelsea fan but i really did feel like punching the referee after watching the video xD
and great video for you guys to enjoy. thanks yichun!

ok more than a week of no blogging and tada! i'm back again.
just got inspiration for a new picture for my blog. hope i can get down to work soon.
donated blood today for the second time and this time it didnt go that smoothly. maybe because i was tired and had a migraine ytd? i dunno. but i was almost finished with the donation (like the packet of blood was 7/8 filled) when my eyes started blurring a bit and the nurse just stopped the donation process and took out the needle. i sincerely hope that that not-so-filled packet of blood still can be used though
other than that i'm feeling fine now haha. but that incident just confirms my suspicion that i have lesser blood that others, just not to the extend that i can be classified medically as having low blood.
alright just a joke to share:
