i'm tired.
but so what?
life still has to go on. work still have to be done. there're tasks i need to complete. there're promises i need to fufill. this is the path i have to take. and then there's this...
i feel like a bird trapped in a cage. maybe to you it seems otherwise, but take a closer look. it's just that the cage is too big for you to notice.

they always say "just focus on the things you can control"
but sometimes, don't you feel a little pissed that there's so many things that are beyond our influence?
whatever... just focus on the things you can control.
DNS-ed my 400m race on saturday because of my hamstring. but the good thing is it's recovering well and i should be able to do some not-so-heavy workout tmr. the only question now is whether i can control myself, after seeing zhenjie's tremendous improvement.
and i sincerely apologise for the previous entry. it was lousy attitude on my part. i won't want people worrying about me either.
esther told me that carrot-celery juice, despite its extremely horrible taste, are beneficial for your muscles or something along that line. i've read that carrots have loads of other benefits too. so i went to try the can of pokka carrot juice and it sure taste bad to me. i cant imagine how esther forced herself to drink that erm... carrot-celery thingy...
the pain is all mental, and it really is.

i opened my fridge, and to much delight, discovered a tub of ice-cream sitting there waiting to be consumed. tiramisu flavour.
ok that was heaven.
but if only that could heal my leg...

the coffee shop behind the school sells excellent duck noodles. thanks to shengyu for recommending.
and i actually tore my ice pack while icing my (seriously f***ed up) hamstring just now. how great. i must have thought that the harder i pressed the ice on my hamstring the faster it would heal, and i just overdid it. f***. i just wanna recover, and now this. f***.
damn....

they say "you are what you eat"
well in that case i'm anything but human because i eat almost anything but humans.
haha ok jokes aside. havent been training much because of my hamstring, i can still feel the pain from time to time. but the thing is that i'm still eating alot, which is a cause for concern. i'm so gonna grow fat. thomas mentioned that i'll become damn fat once i stop training for track because of my eating habits. oh my... i can't change my eating habits because i love food. but the thing is, i won't stop doing sports after track season either. sports for life man.
and i've concluded that tiger balm works better than salonpas (which explains the price). tiger balm lasts much longer and the "heating" effect is much stronger. as for salonpas... i've got 3 of them on my hamstring now (because of the small size) and i can barely feel anything.
whatever... i just want to recover asap...
and i got S for my econs! ok it's not something to be proud of i know, but it's slightly above expectations. slightly because it's 40 marks. and the horrid thing is that i realised i still got some concepts wrong. bleah. i've got to work damn hard for my econs and gp for the coming months...
my elder brother seem to be doing financially well, or so i thought. when i got home yesterday (from mugging), a ps3 console suddenly appeared next to the tv and i was like "wth?!" before that he told me to share the cost with him so i thought, ok, wait till my a levels is over or something. but i think impaitence got the better of him and bought it without me knowing. well for now, he say i'm in charge of 'buying games' but being a smart econs student (to be), i went around borrowing them instead (save cost). damn jian. but at least i'm glad that the ps3 didn't prove to be much of a distraction for me because... there isn't any rpg games yet xD
anw, this is probably my last free weekend since the next 3 will be taken up by national juniors. better cherish it...
and before i end off, happy april fools' day =)
how i wish my injury was just an april fools' joke...
