well i guess before the day comes to an end, i shall make use of this tiny space to wish everyone a merry christmas. hope you've had a merry day indeed =)
well it had been a great december thanks to my accumualed (or rather not used) leaves. taking all 14 days at one shot sure is a splendid idea. and that little wisdom tooth surgery at the start of the month was quite worth it since not a single penny was forked out from my own wallet. well, you can either call this 'reaping the benefits of an SAF soldier' or 'making sure that the taxes i paid were put to good use'. although it came with a night of pain and the loss of more blood than i had expected, it's much better than only realising the need to pluck it when i get that excrutiating pain sometime in the future. and there's also that the pain in the pocket to complement it as well, since the bill of that minor surgery was by no means minor.
well, there's only a week left before 2009 comes to a close. maybe i shall dedicate the next entry to it before this year becomes yesteryear. i'm almost near the finishing line of a certain phase of a singaporean man's life. 19th Mar 2008 - 18th Jan 2010. from diver to clerk to ORD, from boat PT to vlookup to pink ic, from pes A to C to B, it has been one hell of a roller coaster ride.
some of my ORD-ed colleagues who have gone ahead with their studies in their respective unis have mentioned that they do miss the life in the office, referring to the goaless, mindless, just following orders and photocopying papers (aka sk) life, as contrasted to their current uni situation. that makes me dread uni life too, but just a little. a little. i'm still looking forward it because i choose to believe it will be much more colourful than the pixelated no.4.
till then, i'll just have to enjoy life, come what may
