haven't been able to find the mood to pen down my toughts/reflections lately, which explains the lack of posts in the recent week. not that my life has been dull though. on the contrary, it had been fufilling.
finally back on track for tuition again after stopping briefly for the school holidays, and finally i'm going back to a steady income already. seriously, what's keeping me alive now is my tuition pay. simply because i've been spending more that my NS allowance, partly because i don't get cookhouse food like many other NSFs does. whatever, i'm thankful for being able to teach (and earn money of course =p)
friday night was class dinner with 06S14 peeps. simple dinner, but managed to catch up with each other nonetheless. most of the guys are gonna ORD soon, less than 4 months left in fact, for them. i still have 6. but it's ok, it'll come soon =)
last night was wimbledon 09 finals. federer won. on the surface, it seems like a expected result. it is, except for the fact that federer was made to work really hard for it. 5-7, 7-6, 7-6, 3-6, 16-14. i thought last year's nadal vs. federer finals was exciting though, this one turned out to be even better. federer was definitely having a hard time containing roddick's attack. and roddick was serving superbly well for that match. but alas, the king did what he did best - he kept his cool and went at roddick even harder, conjouring 50 aces and taking that all important set to take the record 15th grand slam, and at the same time, reclaimed his number 1 spot.
now nadal is number 2 again. i can cheer for him more since i prefer cheering for underdogs xD
