seems like i've been blogging quite often these days. probably due to the fact that i know that i will lose this freedom to do so soon.
anyway the past 2 days have been rather enjoyable. friday was driving lesson in the morning (where i happen to bump into renuka going for her first practical lesson) and the sushi buffet with yujia, mark, siva and zhili in the afternoon. well, that's one thing down out of the list of many things i wish to do before i enlist. it was quite a hilarious sight watching siva try his first sushi and sashimi, while mark was crazily dumping 4 cream puffs into his (gigantic) mouth at one go. crazy people they are, that's why it was fun xD
yesterday had dinner with recruit naraen and recruit law (wah sounds cool man). three 19-year-old guys having dinner together. as expected, the main conservation topic was on NS. fortunately i was somehow able to keep up with their acronyms. anyway here's the proof that NS makes you stupid:
waitress: so what drinks do you all want?
thomas: cold drinks *continue to look normal as if he said nth wrong*
waitress: *stunned for a while*
me: erm... ice water... ya...
waitress: oh ok *walks away and then was silence for a while*
all 3 of us: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, WTF?!?! WTH IS "COLD DRINKS?" HAHAHA~
anyway it was nice chatting with them, grumbling about how A level results is taking so long, talking about the JI terrorist escape and how the 2nd year NS men finally have work to do. recruit law was like: "eh aaron, how many days you have left? go find a girlfriend la" but recuit naraen was like "NO~ aiya got pros and cons la." haha. both of them were so happy the they're POP-ing soon and excited as to where they'll be posted to and i was like "yea i'm enlisting soon, and i'll most likely be stuck at sembawang for 2 years"
looking forward to results day, not to see the results but to see my friends again =)
