argh! i hope mas selamat something something can be caught really soon so that the traffic congestion at the causeway can ease up so that i can safely take 961 home again.
the jam (traffic jam, not the one you put on your bread) has spread from the causeway all the way down woodlands road, through the industrial area, past the heavy vehicle park (aka the back of my house) and all the way to bukit panjang (!!). and the jam is really horrible i must say, the heavy vehicles on the left lane were not moving at all. could see the drivers getting off their vehicles to have a nice chat. fortunuately the 961 bus driver was smart enough to take the right lanes to somehow get me home, only that the journey was kind of long? thomas would have long finished a 2.4km run before the bus was able to move up to 50m.
talking about the road, this is a shoutout to all who are going to learn driving: do not take auto car lessons!!!
of course that's just my opinion but seriously, i'm glad i'm learning manual transmission instead of automatic transmission. had my first auto car lesson today (since all manual car learners need to attend 2 auto car lessons) and it was boring (to me la). after learning manual car, driving the auto car seems as easy as playing daytona, or initial D or watever racing games you play at the arcade. anyway luckily the instructor was nice and accepted my request to let me drive to choa chu kang area haha.
