had a partially bad day today. partially because tennis with kai sheng for 2 hours straight killed not only my arm but also the lousy mood i was in. ok aside from the little things that contributed to my lousy mood (which includes endless hours of rain concert), there's one thing i just feel like talking about.
so as usual i was on my way to bukit batok driving centre from cck interchange. oh ya sidetrack abit, for those paying adult fare, taking 188 from cck interchange to BBDC costs 67cents but taking 985 from the same interchange to the exact same stop costs 89cents. ok i sound like so cheapo idiot here but it's really quite a lot of money if one happen to be taking the public transport everyday.
haha ok anyway back to my main point. i happen to board this 188 bus driven by this driver who had no idea how to start the ez-link card reader. it took him a good 5 minutes (after had opened the door and made the passengers boarding wait at the entrance) before he finally got it started. anyway i wasnt much affected then, so i just boarded the bus nonchalantly, oblivious that the little ignorance shown by the bus driver was a foreshadow to me getting conned of my ride later.
as i was about to alight at BBDC, i tapped my card at the exit and the card reader read "$1.39" (refer to top)
at that very moment the commuters on the bus would probably have felt a strong killing intent
but before i could do anything i had no choice but to alight and blame my luck.
thinking back, i think i can consider myself lucky? because those who alighted after me would probably be pulling their hair out if they saw their bus fare.
