my hip hurts... i don't know what caused it, all i know is that i can't run properly with that sharp pain bugging me everytime i try to lift my knee. meanwhile, the only thing (or things) i can do is to ice and rest and pray that it'll go away soon.
and to add on to my list of misfortunes, i suffered a phenol burn on my left arm during chem prac last monday. no, it wasn't due to my carelessness at all. in fact, i didn't even touch phenol because i know of the danger that lurks. but despite all my attempts to avoid phenol, it still somehow managed to get onto my arm because someone (whom i'll murder if i find out who he/she is) did not wash his/her phenol properly at my sink. before i realised it there was a white patch on my arm along with an intense pain which felt like... an ultra painful sunburn? i think...
anw, trainings has been fine for me. getting my form and fitness back steadily. as for schoolwork, everthing's finally starting to fall in place after that mad chase to catch up with the rest after orientation. tests and spas are starting to fall upon us like an avalanche but i should be able to handle them... i think... and the best thing is that i've finally found back my "studying mood", thanks to kap.
econs... argh... major headache...
well, some good news and bad news. our girls team came in 2nd in the under-20 category of the SAA national cross-country championships. well i must say i was impressed by their performance that day. a job well done. but the bad news is that out star runner is an ip and there's this new rule states that ips cannot take part in jc competitions, or 'a' division (something along that line). the thing is that this dumb and crap rule has resulted in a major crisis for numerous CCAs in nj since ip1s and ip2s take up quite a significant portion of the nj population. njcians, i'm sure you all heard the choir people's desperate cry for more people to join them. well, there're not the only ones.
teachers from nj, tj and vj are now writing in to moe to appeal for this dumb and crap rule to be removed and the results will only be made known at maybe like end of this week? really really really hope that they will allow the ips to take part. if not, i'll probably have to form a strike party and go on strike to overthrow moe or something. ok just kidding xD
